Have a look on which frameworks I learned and used in a professional environment to build digital products and brands:
Helps you to identify the jobs to be done, pains and gains of your customers
Identify your revenue streams, key partners, key activities, channels, etc.
Write down the problems, wishes, most favourite channels of your customer groups
Define your objectives and key results based on trackable and achievable metrics
How to setup quickly an experiment to test your idea and to validate it with real customers
Talk to your customers and gain qualitative data to identify their problems and needs
Identify your value propositions, cost factory, key partners, etc.
Helps to set a path of how you want your brand to appear
You need a public presentation to show your services and who you are. It will also allow your customer to pay you fast and easy online, get in touch with you and helps you to learn much more about your customers by tracking their behaviour and gathering feedback on each channel you are interacting with them which will help you to improve the quality of your services or goods.
Your users have to find you. You can't count on organic traffic because that takes a lot of time and money to establish. Just having an online presence is not enough. You'll have to address your customers needs right in the moment when they are looking for your services and this can be accomplished by doing performance marketing on Facebook, Linkedin, Xing, Instagram, Affiliate Networks, Display Networks, etc.
Ever wondered why you feel good when you see the logo of apple, coca cola or your most favourite singer/artist? That is not a coincidence. That is hard work and discipline put into charging up a brand to instantly share an emotion and therefore a bond with your customers. The better you are in this, the more they will love you.
Let the IT do the routine. If you want to scale and be more efficient in whatever you are doing, take an advantage out of IT automation. You have to monitor the quality of your services, create automatic standardised processes and always keep up with your customers problems. The details like a book with hotel short stories on a desk next to the bed are the ones your customers will keep in their memory and won't let them forget you.
If you read about all the services and skills I am having you might come up with the question why I am not doing my own business?
That is easy to answer:
Every skill I've learned so far is mostly IT related and there are only very few use cases in which this knowledge would allow me to create content which is worth to be paid for. One of this use cases is what I am doing by offering my services to enable others improving their business online.
It means I am not a Tailor, so I can't create dresses or suits. I am not a pharmacist so I can't sell medicine. I am not a farmer so I can't grow food and sell it.
IT related skills are something that automates, enables and improves other professions. I need to offer my IT related skills to people who can create goods and services themselves to help them improve their business by automatising the monkey-work part with IT :)
